Wikipedia Corrects Encyclopedia Britannica

An interesting Slashdot [url=http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=07/07/24/0114228&from=rss][/url] capturing some of the places where Wikipedia is correcting Encyclopedia Britannica. Among
the wrong information collected on this page are the name at birth of Bill
Clinton and the definition of the NP problems in mathematics.

Google base

I've been playing with google base for some stuff at work, it's a neat hosted search indexing thingy. I just added a link to our pad in Vermont. Now when someone goes to Google Base and I think what was formerly called Froogle and they search for vacation rentals it shows up.
Google has lots of cool offerings to help people find services and fun stuff like that. Cherith, Lonne, and I setup a page for Bailey Appraisal Services the other weekend and got it listed on Google Listings/Maps. Very neat.
